Startup Village, new feature at BeDigital 2021 to bring together start-up companies

A common space will be reserved to generate new opportunities.

The technology-based start-ups, new companies with significant growth potential, will have their own space at the new edition of BeDigital, the meeting point aimed at the industrial application of enabling technologies that will be held at Bilbao Exhibition Centre from 26 to 28 October. This edition will focus on the importance of this group, which up to now participated individually. Thus, a space called STARTUP VILLAGE has been reserved, where they will be brought together and all of their needs will be addressed.  To do so, BEC will count on the collaboration of UPTEK, the Spanish association for technology-based companies and start-ups for advanced and digital manufacturing, which is part of the AFM Cluster.

In this new space, there will be room for all of those advanced manufacturing start-ups, but also for those related to user sectors, such as energy, aeronautics or the automotive sector, among others. The aim of STARTUP VILLAGE is to generate opportunities for the companies in the exhibition area.

Additionally, the BeDigital 2021 programme will maintain its usual format with Open Meetings, gatherings between purchasers and users, and Digital Talks, technical-strategic conferences with real case studies.

This year’s event offers the added attraction of being held as part of +Industry, one of the leading industrial events held at Bilbao Exhibition Centre. Along with BeDigital, another six trade shows will run concurrently at BEC – Subcontratación, Addit3D, Industry Tools by Ferroforma, Fitmaq, Maintenance and Pumps&Valves, making +Industry the country’s biggest Smart Manufacturing meeting point.

BeDigital is sponsored by Euskaltel and Kanbanize.
