• What will we use your data for?
  In general, your personal data will be used to interact with you and provide you with our services, including e-commerce, which consists of the purchase and sale of products or services through electronic means.Your data may also be used for other activities, such as sending you advertising or promoting our activities,  for which we will request your consent.

  Likewise, BEC will process the personal data of people who access the premises (specifically, their image) in order to ensure the security of people, property and facilities.

  The legal basis that allows BEC to process the data is its legitimate interest in the security of the premises, as well as that of all persons on the premises.

  BEC will keep the images obtained through the video surveillance systems for a maximum period of one (1) month from the time they were captured. After this period, they will be deleted in general, unless it is necessary to retain them in order to comply with any legal provision, official authority and/or judicial requirement or exceptional situation that legitimises the retention of the recordings for a period longer than that established by law.

  Furthermore, the entire premises may be recorded by BEC and the media in order to obtain images of the ambiance of the events and their activities. In addition, please note that these images may also be used for promotional and/or commercial purposes by BEC and the event itself.

  The captured images, which may include attendees’ voices and/or images, may be processed and disseminated by various media such as their respective websites, social networks or fan pages, and included as content in TV programmes or content for device applications (e.g. smartphones, smartwatches, tablets, 3D glasses). BEC will process the images captured, as the data controller, for the purposes indicated on the basis of its legitimate interest.

  Finally, BEC may conduct interviews or organise workshops, webinars and/or sessions in which participants may be recorded and, therefore, certain identifying data such as the image, voice or name of the speakers will be processed.

  The legal basis allowing BEC to process the data provided will be the speaker’s express consent.

  These images will be processed for the purpose agreed to at the time through the mandatory authorisation of image rights transfer in favour of BEC and will also be stored in accordance with the established legal deadlines. In general, the content generated will become part of BEC’s image gallery as part of its historical documentary archive. In any case, speakers may exercise their rights regarding personal data protection.

• Why do we need to use your data?
  Your personal data is necessary in order for us to interact with you and provide you with our services. In this regard, we will provide you with a series of checkboxes that will allow you to decide clearly and easily on the use of your personal information.
• Who will have access to the information we request?
  In general, only duly authorised personnel of our organisation will have access to the information we request from you.Likewise, those entities that need access to your personal information in order for us to provide our services may also have access to it. For example, our bank will have access to your data if payment for our services is made by card or bank transfer.

  Furthermore, public or private entities to which we are duty-bound to provide your personal data in order to comply with the law will also have access to your information. For example, the Taxation Act requires us to provide the Tax Agency with certain information on financial transactions exceeding a certain amount.

  We will protect your data with effective security measures based on the risks involved in the use of your information.To this end, our organisation has approved a Data Protection Policy and annual checks and audits are carried out to verify that your personal data is secure at all times.
• Will we send your data to other countries?
  Some countries are secure for your data, while others are not so secure. For example, the European Union is a secure environment for your data. Our policy is not to send your personal information to any country that is not secure from in terms of data protection.In the event that, in order to provide you with the service, it is essential to send your data to a country that is not as secure as the United Kingdom, we will always ask for your permission in advance and apply effective security measures to reduce the risks of sending your personal information to another country.
