It will be held in May 2018 and AFM and BEC will address the greatest challenge posed by Industry 4.0
Next year, AFM-Advanced Manufacturing Technologies and Bilbao Exhibition Centre will address the most important challenge posed by Industry 4.0 with BeDIGITAL by BIEMH, a new event aimed at the industrial application of digital technologies, which will be held within the framework of BIEMH from 28th May to 1st June. The digital transformation will determine the competitiveness of industry in the medium and long term and is advancing at a dizzying rate, so BeDIGITAL by BIEMH will offer the most appropriate space to discover first hand those processes that accelerate production and make it more flexible, optimise resources and streamline interaction with clients.
Virtual and augmented reality, integrated manufacturing systems, big data, cloud services, IoT, cyber security, additive manufacturing… Consultancy firms, ICT, software, IT and hardware firms, marketing agencies and technology centres will offer solutions and tools for advanced digitalisation in all of these areas, on a combined platform that will include two differentiated areas – commercial contact and conferences – in order to facilitate the practical demonstration of products and services, networking with business opportunities and knowledge transfer. In this aspect, the contents of the conferences will be adapted to the different levels of digital maturity of the companies, proposing general themes and an initial approach as well as extremely technical contents for products, projects in progress or funding, among other questions.
BeDIGITAL by BIEMH is aimed at managers, owners, directors and heads of IT, digitalisation, production, IT areas, R&D&I, logistics, purchasing, sales, finances, human resources, management and organisation of companies interested in reorganising their industrial activity and redefining their business models, taking advantage of the keys of the Digital Revolution. The term is not exaggerated: the availability of digital information, the automation of processes, the interconnection of the value chain and the creation of digital interfaces with the consumer are significantly increasing the turnover of companies, with cost savings in production, logistics, quality and maintenance that reach an average of 20% according to the Roland Berguer Report.
For this reason, and in a complex context of multiple challenges, opportunities and risks, BeDIGITAL by BIEMH will guarantee its objective of facilitating new opportunities to compete in an increasingly demanding global market thanks to it being held within the framework of BIEMH. The largest exhibition of Industry 4.0 and advanced manufacturing in Spain will host this new initiative with the certainty of being the largest and most ambitious space for national and international exchange and projection in this sector. A total of 1,533 exhibitors and over 40,000 visitors participated in the 2016 edition of BIEMH, which has already begun to work more intensely on the great transversal concepts of today’s industry with the creation of ADDIT3D, the 1st Additive and 3D Manufacturing International Fair.
BE DIGITAL by BIEMH is organised by AFM-Advanced Manufacturing Technologies and Bilbao Exhibition Centre and it will be held from 28th May to 1st June, within the framework of the 30th edition of BIEMH.
