Be DIGITAL 2019 will display the keys to a new connected industry model

From 4 to 6 June 2019

Companies from the Big Data & analytics, artificial intelligence, cloud computing & services, cyber-security, augmented and virtual reality, internet of things (IoT), blockchain, software solutions & engineering, ICT and hardware sectors will be taking part in the second edition of BeDIGITAL from 4 to 6 June 2019, where the latest keys to digital transformation will be displayed. The technologies taking centre stage in the new connected industry model will be widely present across the various fields of the trade show, which will offer differentiated areas -for commercial contact and conferences- in order to facilitate practical product and service demonstrations, networking with business opportunities and knowledge transfer.

BeDIGITAL also has the support of GAIA, the Association of Electronic and Information Technologies in the Basque Country, for this edition. GAIA will be part of the Scientific Committee collaborating on defining the content and speakers for the Digital Talks, will disseminate information on the event to its associates, and will organise its own activities during the exhibition.

The campaign to attract exhibitors has already started by making the first contact with driving companies, large technological service corporations, and companies that already committed to BeDIGITAL in its first edition in 2018. Companies including Oracle, Ibermática, Kaspersky, Dominion Digital, Indra, SAP, Arin Innovation, SPRI/Basque Government, Sarenet, Xabet Digital Solutions, Análisis y Simulación, Cimworks, Innovae, CT Solutions, and Vixion Connected Factory will be taking part in this new initiative.

Meanwhile, the Visitor’s Department is focussing its efforts on profiles interested in adapting 4.0 solutions to their businesses, which are generally managers and heads of IT, innovation, computing, digitalisation, software and ICTs. The main sectors that these companies belong to are the automotive, aeronautics, energy and utilities, capital goods, chemical and petrochemical, engineering, transport and infrastructure industries.

This is due to the fact that BeDIGITAL will be held in parallel with another six industrial events, creating a broad industrial space called + Industry. BeDIGITAL will coincide with SUBCONTRATACIÓN, the International Fair of Manufacturing Processes and Equipment; ADDIT3D, the International Trade Show on Additive and 3D Manufacturing; IT by FERROFORMA, the International Industry Tools and Supplies Fair; MAINTENANCE, the International Industrial Maintenance Fair; PUMPS & VALVES, the International Trade Show for Pump Systems, Valves and Equipment for Industrial Processes; and FITMAQ, the International Fair of Bargain & Used Machinery.

BeDIGITAL is organised by AFM-Advanced Manufacturing Technologies and Bilbao Exhibition Centre.
